Ballina’s biggest weekend of the year is back — and it’s about to get seriously spooky (and a little spicy). From Thursday, October 30 to Sunday, November 2, The Australian transforms into a fiesta of colour, culture, live music, and mayhem for our annual Day of the Dead Festival

Get ready for four days of live bands, DJs, family fun, themed raffles, tacos, and icy cold beers — all going down on our new open-air stage and throughout the venue.

WHAT'S ON:

THU OCT 30 - MUSICAL BINGO

Kick off the weekend with a Halloween-themed edition of Musical Bingo — spooky tunes, singalongs, prizes, and plenty of laughs from 7PM.

Family-friendly fun and the perfect warm-up for the weekend ahead!

FRI OCT 31 - HALLOWEEN PARTY

Spooky raffles & badge draw from 6PM

Live music: Versace Boys (8PM – 10PM)

Best Dressed Prize for top costumes

DJ Rebeka Rabota (10PM – 1AM) keeping the dance floor alive late into the night!

SUN NOV 1 - DJ'S ON THE NEW STAGE

DJ Femme on deck from 9PM till late

Vibes rolling all night long on our new open-air stage

Epic energy, cocktails, and coastal tunes till close!

SUN NOV 2 - FAMILY FIESTA

Kids eat FREE (12PM – 4PM)

Free kids’ face painting (1PM – 3PM)

Craft station: decorate masks & skulls in true Día De Los Muertos fashion

Live flamenco guitarist: 12PM – 3PM

Live band: The Wet Fish from 3PM

Stone & Wood pints for the price of schooners all day
