Lucid Safari is fast becoming one of Brisbane/Meanjin’s finest dream-rock acts, carving out their space in the music scene in record time. Known for their rapid evolution from roots-based indie into polished, pop-drenched dream rock, Lucid Safari continues to push sonic boundaries, and their latest single, “Something More,” exemplifies their growth. Released on November 13, 2024, this track follows their previous single, “When You Go,” and dives into the feeling of “what could’ve been”—a nostalgic reflection on two people whose timing was never right. Co-written with Blake Malone and Graham Ritchie, the song's “super sparkly, spacey” production brings an ‘80s-inspired pop-rock flair while balancing heartfelt emotion with a sense of longing.
